Krabi town

We have stayed in Krabi for just over a week now, felt like having a bit of a rest after all the chaos before we left!! Been spending most days down at Ao Nang beech and evenings visiting the numerous night markets that sell all kinds of food, which unlike Bangkok is actually edible!! As you can imagine Simon is in heaven will all this food about!

Grabbing a snack, some kind of meat!!

Krabi's weekend walking market

Chilled!!

Removals Thai Style, they were still stacking it up when we took this!

Dinner with Venice and Tim from California, got this massive fish from the market, it fed all 3 of us, Andrea just had the beer and a crisp butty!! Played cards for hours with these two and still never managed to beat them!

This is more like it!!

Boat trip to Poda ( paradise) Island, which it would have been if it were not for the hundreds of people there!!

Beech at Ao Nang cant believe how warm and blue the sea is, you can see loads of fish swimming around you.

Monkeys at the beech, One started trying to get into our bag think he wanted Si's sunglasses! This was pre getting pissed on from above (by a monkey i might add - not Si) lol.

Who knew monkeys could swim??

Chicken Island, apparently the shape of it looks like a chicken, we couldn't see it! went snorkelling here and Andrea got stung on the head by a jellyfish - Nice!!

The crab at Krabi where we are staying, at night there are loads of crabs and weird half fish half lizard things all over the banks of the river.

At last the first post from thailand! Bangkok

1st stop Bangkok, our hotel is a bit out of the centre but there is a sky train stop about ten minutes walk away,  but that is no mean feat when it is 38'c and there are hundreds of food stalls on the pavement which absolutly stink of dry fish and offal and other unidentifiable meat!! Nearly threw up a number of times!
Apart from that hotel pretty nice but no window, hey what do you expect for £10 a night!
Prah Maha Mondop! Dont really know what this is but we stumbled upon this in China Town and thought we would have a look. Something to do with a gold Buddah!
Weekend market in Mo Chit thought Sophie would like this stall!
Crazy lady in Patpong surprisingly this one wasn't offering to do a ping pong show!
Wat Po, the reclining Buddah

Guess which one is the real Buddah?

A picture of Andrea incase you thought she had stayed at home!
